If you’ve ever sat in my consult chair, you’ve probably heard at least one of these. They come up constantly, as they should, because good aesthetics is about honesty, and understanding the why behind my treatment plan.

1. “Natural” results don’t happen by accident

Natural outcomes aren’t about using less product. They’re about planning. Planning a multi-step treatment plan that BUILDS and COMBINES off the last, not just adds to it.

The difference is anatomy, timing, and restraint.

Natural results are designed — not guessed.

2. No, I can’t copy the 5-point lifting technique you saw on TikTok

And even if I could… I wouldn’t. The videos where they treat one side of the face and show the difference… is a bit of a smoke and mirrors situation

What works on one person, under one camera angle, with one filter, and often underlying asymmetry- does not automatically work on yours. Faces are different, let us assess yours and come yup with a personalised plan. Lets leave TikTok for recipes and transitions xx

3. More treatment is usually not the answer

If the solution to every concern is “just add more”, something has already gone wrong.

Sometimes the best outcome comes from doing less, spacing treatments out, or pausing altogether. “Not today” is often the safest and most experienced answer. I’m a BIG fan of a cooling off period; a week, or two, to decide if this is what you want- or if your just in your feels in your luteal phase (me every month)

4. Fixing poor work is harder (and more expensive) than doing it properly the first time

I get it- I’ve DONE it. Chasing cheaper treatments, switching clinics frequently, or trend-hopping often leads to more time, money, and emotional energy spent dissolving, correcting, and rebuilding.

A long-term plan always wins. A nurse that knows your history, grows her treatment plans with you will always lead to better and more cost effective results.

5. The consult is the most important part of your appointment

This is where the real work happens.

A good consult isn’t rushed, transactional, or trend-driven. It’s where expectations are managed honestly and a plan is created that actually makes sense for your face. When this step is overlooked, this is when plans get get messy- and also expensive

If you leave feeling informed, calm, and confident – that’s exactly how it should feel.
